Happy Friday, ladies! Should we start with what I’m loving lately or the big news?? I personally love the list of things I’ve been loving lately and, if I wait to share the news to the end, I know you’ll just skip the list so, let’s start with the news!

My Dad is FINALLY coming to visit!! He arrives tomorrow and is staying for two weeks! I get emotional just thinking about it. My Dad has never traveled abroad before so this is such a big deal. I’m so proud of him for doing something like this. To me, it doesn’t seem like a big deal to travel abroad but, when you haven’t before, it can feel a bit intimidating. He said that knowing we’re on the other side of a long travel day and new experiences will make it all worth it! He’s so excited to see and spend time with Louie, see where we live, explore Windsor and London and we’re even going to take him down to Cornwall to meet John’s family. It’s going to be a very full and very fun couple of weeks! I’ll be sure to recap what we did in case you’re coming to visit soon and want ideas. Alright, let’s move on to the list of what I’ve been loving lately.

What I’m Loving Lately

I’ve been sharing tons of style content lately so, today, I wanted to share a little roundup of things I’ve been loving lately. This can be anything from fashion and home decor to TV shows and recipes and everything in between. But, I’m saving the best of the best of my favorites from this month for the monthly favorites newsletter that’ll go out on Saturday, November 4th. You’ll get a list of what I’ve loved from the month on the first Saturday of every month moving forward and a weekly email on Saturday’s with a roundup of my favorite looks from the week, sales to be aware of, and exclusive content not shared anywhere else! So, be sure to subscribe to get it in your inbox HERE.

1. Blazers

Fall is the perfect time to break out all of the outerwear you’ve been storing throughout the summer. I’ve been wearing a blazer from H&M a lot lately, but it’s no longer available. H&M items can’t seem to stay in stock, I swear. But this is another option from H&M, and I’ve been eyeing quite a few others recently because I’ve been wearing the H&M blazer so much. I wore this outfit earlier this week when I went into London for a shoot. You may or may not be seeing this look a little closer up in an upcoming blog post.

Blazers aren’t just for the office, by the way. I love wearing them with denim jeans, a t-shirt and mules and also with casual dresses. They’re a versatile piece that won’t go out of style. I typically stick to more neutral colors with blazers, and sometimes might purchase a houndstooth or plaid option to mix it up.

2. Staying Home

I’ve had some amazing opportunities to travel recently both with friends and with John. Last week, we returned from the Lake District, and now have no plans to go anywhere anytime soon – well, until we go to Cornwall next weekend, ha! I’m looking forward to spending some quality time at home during the next few months. It’s been nice to get things done around the house that have been on my list like framing the minted artwork for Louie’s room. I also recently switched over my wardrobe from spring/summer to autumn/winter. Hoping to check more things off the home to-do list in the coming weeks while we spend more time at home.

I’ve loved lululemon align leggings for years. But I recently picked up a gorgeous roasted brown color for the fall and winter. They’re perfect to wear on walks with a long sleeve shirt and fleece. Or you can opt to dress them up a little with knee-high boots and an oversized sweater.

4. Mango Trench Coat

In October, it always seems to rain here more often for some reason. So a trench coat is a must-have this time of year. I find a good trench coat that fits you well is hard to find, much like jeans. But I found this one recently from Mango, and I think I’m set for years now! It’s under $130 and great quality. I’m wearing an XXS and fits true to size. It’s a great outerwear piece to keep your clothes dry. Pair with knee-high rain boots and an umbrella, and you’re set for the rainiest of days.

5. The Color Brown

this full look is linked in this blog post

Okay, I’ve been having a moment with the color brown lately. Not like a deep espresso brown, but like a rich, vibrant chocolate brown. It’s a problem. I’m infusing the color more and more into my wardrobe and also home decor. If you’re suffering from this obsession, as well, I thought I’d mention this cashmere sweater that I’ve been wearing on repeat is currently 20% off and is such a gorgeous shade of brown. It pairs perfectly with many pieces in my fall wardrobe. I also picked up this cozy blanket recently with a fringe detail that I know will look gorgeous in any room in the house. Below are a few things I’ve been loving with the color of the moment.

6. Married at First Sight UK

The latest season of Married at First Sight UK is so good! Has anyone seen this show? We started watching it during our lockdown in 2020/2021, and have been hooked ever since. The Australian seasons are what we started with. They are so addicting because there’s so much drama and you can’t wait to see who stays together in the end. I follow some of the couples from older seasons and it’s so cool to see who married someone they had never met and are still together!

7. Shopping at Mango

You may have noticed recently that many of the pieces I’ve been featuring in blog posts have been from a retailer called Mango. They have so many cute things right now with lots of great essentials that are perfect outfit-building blocks. Mango also has mens, kids, teens and home lines. Their prices are quite good too!

Alright, ladies. I think that does it for me today. I hope you have a great weekend! Don’t miss the J.Crew 20% off Cashmere Sale and their sale on coats and jackets. The OurPlace Always Pan is also on sale right now. The holidays are around the corner so while I’d never judge you for buying for yourself, I also think it’s incredible time to start snagging items for your loved ones.

What’s something that you’re loving lately? Let me know in the comments below! xo.
