Hi, friends! I hope you’re having a terrific week. We’ve been soaking up every last second with my dad, and showing him all of our favorite spots around the area. This is his first trip overseas and hoping this is his first of many more to come. 🙂
If you’ve been to any store that sells home decor like Target or Crate & Barrel, you know they already have holiday home decor out. Once Halloween is over, it’s full on Christmas mode for me too. I like to take inventory of all my holiday decor, and see if there’s anything I want to add or any decor I want to change up from last year’s. Some of my favorite places to get holiday home decor are Target, Crate & Barrel, Pottery Barn and Kirklands. Today, I’m sharing some of the holiday decor I’ve got my eye on, and I’m sure there will be plenty more finds to come.
If you missed the blog post where I share the five new pairs of shoes I recently bought for fall, you can read that HERE.

Holiday Decor for the Tree
No holiday tree is complete without the addition of the star. This gorgeous glass star topper is handmade with a snowy glass and brass borders. It’s the perfect finishing touch for your family tree.
For the bottom of the tree, don’t forget the tree skirt. This knit ivory tree skirt is a beautiful neutral color that will go with a variety of home decor styles in your home. The chunky texture gives the overall appearance of an organic, homey look.
Holiday Decor for the Mantle
To create a beautiful mantle, start with pre-lit garland to give your mantle a pop of color from the greenery and a bit of twinkle from the lights. This garland is 9 feet long, giving you ample length for your mantle. You could also use this for outdoor use.
Next, add some beautiful white and silver bottle brush Christmas trees. Group them on your mantle to give the overall look some height and texture. A total of eight trees come in this set. You could also place these on a console table or other places throughout your home where you need filler decor.
To complete your mantle, you have to have stockings and love this cozy ivory knit option. It matches the tree skirt perfectly, and goes with my love for neutrals. These mantle pegs are perfect to add to the mantle to hang the stockings on.
Holiday Decor for the Rest of the Home
I know Louie is still quite small, but I’m so excited about this holiday season and watching him take in everything. This metal mailbox is for “letters to Santa”, and think it would be such a fun tradition to start writing a letter to Santa from Louie. It’s also quite beautiful to keep out as a decor piece throughout the season too.
For your kitchen, this Merry & Bright holiday platter can be a two-for-one piece. You can use it to serve meals on throughout the holiday season. And while you’re not using it for meals, you can display it as a home decor piece. I love the vintage feel of the lettering and the black and white colors.
And if you use an artificial tree instead of a real tree, then you can still have that fresh balsam smell with this diffuser. The whole room will smell like you just got back from the forest cutting down a real Christmas tree. It’s a traditional holiday scent that gives me all the feels the holiday season brings.
