Hailing from the progressive cities of Bristol and London, Bare Jams is an innovative group that meshes multiple genres together into their own unique sound. This collective is made up of Josh on the piano, Dave on bass, Jake on sax, Sam on the drums, trumpet player Seb, and vocalist and guitarist Ollie. Each member of the six-piece band contributes a special skill set and a creative artistic vision that reflects Bare Jams’ overall style.
In 2018, Bare Jams’ passion was ignited by blending elements of pop, soul, reggae, and rock. Since then, they have toured across the world, showcasing their signature sound at prominent festivals and venues, such as Boomtown Fair and Glastonbury. Additionally, Bare Jams even directly supported iconic artists like The Wailers and La Pegatine, while headlining shows throughout Europe. Their debut album This n That was one of the greatest musical phenomenons in 2020, widely expanding Bare Jams’ fanbase.
Building anticipation for their upcoming UK Autumn tour, Bare Jams is back with their new hit track “Rockets”. Speaking on the release, singer Ollie states, “the song floats the idea that we can create our own safe place that we nurture and maintain in order to get to our desired destinations and outcomes while spreading love at the same time. ‘Rockets’ is a homage to positive perception and optimism.” The crisp instrumentals are layered perfectly with Ollie’s soothing vocals throughout the pop-reggae anthem. Nothing is more exciting than getting to see Bare Jams rock out with “Rockets” live during their end of November performance in their hometown of Bristol.
