Ravensburger is getting ready to release two new cooperative Minecraft board games, Minecraft: Portal Dash and Minecraft: Heroes of the Village. Portal Dash will be available in November 2022 with Heroes of the Village coming in January 2023.
In Minecraft: Portal Dash players must work together to escape the Nether dimension. Players will cross lava field landscapes and fight off hordes of fiery mobs and bosses. You’ll uncover useful equipment and valuable mining blocks to pick up before the piglins snatch them. Only good teamwork and strategy will lead the players to freedom. This game will retail for $39.99 MSRP and is for 1-4 players age 10+ with an average play time of 60 minutes.
Minecraft: Heroes of the Village is geared for younger players. You’ll protect your village from raiding Illagers. To help with this, players will explore the world, collect resources, fight mobs, and build buildings to protect against the marauders. You can also be helped by animal companions who can grant special abilities. This one will retail for $24.99 MSRP and is for 1-4 players age 7+ with an average play time of 20-25 minutes.
Both of these games sound like a lot of fun even for those who aren’t Minecraft players.
