“I designed the home myself and we built it ourselves,” Mr Shaw says.

“Because it’s so close to the beach, it had to be durable and low-maintenance and I also wanted to make it unique and give it a distinct shape.
“A lot of houses are designed as boxes with straight lines and ours has that a bit but we’ve done it in a bit of a different way. We wanted to portray what we can do in regards to finer details. We pride ourselves on quality and we always want to do a really good job and I think this definitely speaks for itself now and will in the long term.
“We’re really proud of it.”

A run down shack when Mr Shaw bought it seven years ago, it has since been demolished and the block cleared and replaced with a two-storey stunner complete with an open-plan kitchen, living and dining room, up to four bedrooms, an upstairs living area or bedroom, a garage and an outdoor entertainment area, all surrounded by a landscaped garden.
“It would be fantastic for an older demographic ready to really enjoy the location – it’s ready to be loved,” he says.
