Aubrey Plaza is set to join Kathryn Hahn in Marvel Studios’ upcoming WandaVision spinoff series Agatha: Coven of Chaos, which is coming to Disney+.
There aren’t many details about this show, and we don’t know who Plaza is playing. All the good and interesting details are being kept locked away! But, Plaza is going to fit right in with the show, and it’s pretty cool that she’s finally joining the MCU!
Hahn is reprising her role as Agatha in the series, and Emma Caulfield Ford is also set to reprise the role of Dottie. Joe Locke recently joined the cast as well in an undisclosed role. Jac Schaeffer, the creative force behind the WandaVision series, will serve as the head writer and executive producer of the show.
Coven of Chaos is said to be a “dark comedy” in the MCU. When we last saw Agatha, after she attempted to take Wanda Maximoff’s magic for herself, Wanda trapped her in the “Agnes” persona.
Plaza and Hahn previously appeared together in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation, with Plaza playing April Ludgate, and Hahn taking on the role of political strategist Jen Barkley. So, this is going to be a fun little reunion for the two talents.
Agatha: Coven of Chaos is expected to arrive on Disney+ in late 2023. This is one of two WandaVision spinoffs in development. It was also recently announced that Vision was getting his one series titled Vision Quest.
